Casa Rosell-Rios

The Casa Rosell-Rios features a distinct, pale facade punctuated by deep-set balconies enclosed in dark, ornate wood. Built in nineteen twenty-four, this residence reflects the shift toward the aesthetic preferences of Lima’s elite during the early twentieth century. Its architect, Ricardo de Jaxa Malachowski, designed the structure to capture the light of the Pacific coast while maintaining the privacy expected by its original inhabitants. It occupies a quiet corner, standing as one of the few houses of its era still intact.
