The massive mural of a young girl feeding a giant African giraffe covers the side of the Woodstock Industrial Centre. Painted by the artist FaithXLVII in twenty-twelve, the work spans several stories, dominating the brick wall with a soft, dreamlike palette. It emerged from an era when local street artists began reclaiming industrial buildings as public canvases. The giraffe, rendered in delicate, almost translucent strokes, towers over the figure, bridging the gap between the urban concrete surroundings and the wild animal kingdom.
