The building at COMFORT in Huam-dong features a stark, folded concrete exterior that sharply cuts into the slope of the hill. It sits on a site where a traditional residential house once stood, replaced by this structure to serve as a hub for cyclists. Architect Jo Jin-man designed the space to mimic the rhythm of the surrounding neighborhood streets, allowing the floor levels to step upward along the steep terrain. Inside, the design keeps the focus on the steady climb up the mountain.
