Beneath the busy streets of the Lower East Side lies a hidden relic of the city's transit past. This space is a former trolley terminal that served the Williamsburg Bridge until it was shuttered in nineteen forty-eight. The terminal remains a vast, subterranean expanse that has sat silent and largely untouched for decades.
