Khatri Hall

The two-story structure with the faded, pale blue wooden exterior and long, narrow veranda stands as a central gathering point in Nadi. Built by the local Khatri community in the early twentieth century, it served as a hub for Indian immigrants who arrived as indentured laborers. The hall provided a venue for community meetings, weddings, and traditional gatherings when they had few other spaces to call their own. It remains a rare, surviving example of the colonial-era architecture that shaped the town’s early identity.
