Nadi Bridge

landmark

The Nadi Bridge spans the Nadi River with a series of sturdy concrete arches that distinguish it from the newer, flatter crossings nearby. It serves as the primary artery connecting the town center to the road leading toward the airport. During the heavy rains of two thousand twelve, the river rose high enough to submerge the bridge deck entirely, cutting off the main route for days. Local residents still mark the height of that flood by the debris left caught in the lower steel railings.
