Osaka Korea Town Museum

The Osaka Korea Town Museum occupies a modest, narrow building distinguished by a bright red exterior that contrasts with the surrounding neighborhood. It exists to archive the personal histories of the Zainichi Koreans who settled in Ikuno after migrating during the colonial period. Inside, handwritten letters and worn family photographs cover the walls, documenting the daily struggle to maintain cultural identity while running local businesses. One display features a small, rusted sewing machine used by a woman who supported her family for decades.
