Half Rabbit by Bordalo II

landmark

A giant rabbit crouches on the corner of a stone building, its body constructed entirely from painted industrial trash. Bordalo the Second built this creature using discarded tires, cables, and scrap metal salvaged from local sites. He aims to highlight the problem of excessive waste by turning refuse into representations of vulnerable wildlife. The rabbit looks as if it is scavenging the street for food, blending the artificial materials with the concrete environment of Vila Nova de Gaia.
