WASM Studio

The WASM Studio features a distinct, textured exterior wall of rammed earth that mimics the traditional construction methods of historical Ad Diriyah. This workshop serves as a dedicated space for contemporary artists to explore heritage crafts through modern design techniques. Artist Lulwah Al Homoud established this studio to bridge the gap between ancient geometric patterns and current artistic practice. Inside, the heavy walls maintain a stable, cool temperature, housing experimental equipment alongside hand-carved stone blocks that trace the evolution of local decorative motifs.
