La Recova

The red brick facade of La Recova features a series of arched windows and a distinct industrial geometry that sets it apart from the surrounding residential blocks. Originally built as a neighborhood market in the early twentieth century, the building provided a centralized space for vendors to sell fresh produce to the residents of Embajadores. When the stall culture declined, the structure avoided demolition by housing various community workshops and social gatherings, preserving the original brickwork while shifting its purpose toward local civic life.
