The Computer History Museum occupies a long, low building of tan stucco and glass that stretches horizontally across the Silicon Valley landscape. It houses the world’s largest collection of computing artifacts, ranging from giant mainframes to handheld devices that fit in a pocket. The building once served as the headquarters for Silicon Graphics. When they moved out, the museum filled the space with thousands of machines, including an original nineteen forty-six ENIAC, which occupies a massive, dedicated gallery near the center.
