The storefront window at Keramiker Inge Vincents displays thin, translucent porcelain vessels that seem to glow when caught by the daylight. Inge Vincents established this workshop to focus on the technique of shaping clay until the walls are as paper-thin as possible. She fires each piece at a high temperature, a process that risks collapse for the sake of translucency. Every bowl, cup, and vase in the shop reveals the natural irregularities of a hand working with delicate, unglazed white clay.
