Μνημείο Μπατακλάν

The Bataclan features a prominent red facade with a distinct Chinese-style pagoda roof. Originally built in eighteen sixty-four as a café-concert hall, the name draws from an operetta by Jacques Offenbach. For decades, the venue hosted vaudeville acts and dance halls before becoming a rock music theater in the nineteen seventies. On the night of November thirteenth, twenty fifteen, three gunmen entered during an Eagles of Death Metal concert. Eighty-nine people lost their lives inside that room during the attack.
