Église Saint-Eustache

The Église Saint-Eustache features a facade that mixes Gothic structure with Renaissance decorative details. Construction began in fifteen thirty-two and stretched for over a century, creating a unique hybrid style that separates it from its more uniform neighbors. During the French Revolution, the building served as a Temple of Agriculture, and the interior once held a festival where a statue of Liberty was placed on the high altar. The heavy stone walls held firm through centuries of turbulent urban change.
