Square Michel-Foucault

park garden

Square Michel-Foucault is a small, quiet green space tucked away in the heart of Paris near the Sorbonne. It sits at the intersection of rue Saint-Jacques and rue des Écoles, serving as a peaceful anchor in a district defined by centuries of academic life. The park was only officially named after the influential philosopher Michel Foucault in December two thousand five. Before that, it functioned as the western section of the larger Square Auguste-Mariette-Pacha.
