Jardin Ilan Halimi is a quiet, unassuming green space tucked into the twelfth arrondissement of Paris. This site was officially renamed in May of 2011 to honor the memory of Ilan Halimi, a young man who spent part of his childhood playing in this very neighborhood. His story is one of the most painful chapters in modern French history, marking a turning point in how the nation confronts the realities of antisemitism.
