Les Pavillons de Bercy - Musée des Arts Forains

museum

You are approaching the Pavillons de Bercy, a site that holds one of the largest private collections of fairground and performing arts in the world. This museum occupies a series of former wine warehouses built in the late nineteenth century by the architect Louis-Ernest Lheureux. While this district was once the center of a massive global wine trade, these historic stone and brick structures now house a dreamlike collection of antique carousels, mechanical organs, and fairground stalls.
