Oppic

landmark

The Oppic headquarters sits behind a stark, industrial facade of dark metal and glass on the rue de Tolbiac. This building serves as the operational hub for the French state agency responsible for major cultural construction projects, from the renovation of the Palais de Justice to the restoration of Notre Dame. Before this agency took residence, the site housed technical facilities for the printing of newspapers, a function that dictated its wide, open floor plates and reinforced concrete frame.
