The Rhinos by Bordalo II

The two rhinoceroses you see here are creations of the Portuguese artist known as Bordalo II. He constructed these relief murals entirely from salvaged trash, including discarded plastic, metal parts, and other urban refuse. By using the very materials that contribute to environmental degradation, the artist forces a direct confrontation between the waste we produce and the natural world we harm.
