The TicchuGalli Store stands out for its weathered timber facade and the heavy, hand-carved wooden screen that covers its upper window. This building serves as a repository for the traditional crafts of the Newar people in Lalitpur. For decades, the space acted as a workshop where local artisans shaped copper and brass into ritual vessels used in daily prayers. Merchants traded textiles and grains here long before the modern concrete buildings rose to block the original view of the street.
