The St Pancras Clock Tower stands as a towering testament to the Victorian age of steam, reaching two hundred and eighty feet into the London skyline. Designed by architect George Gilbert Scott as part of the Midland Grand Hotel, the tower features a massive, false bell chamber. Despite its grand exterior appearance, this space was never intended to house bells; it was constructed purely to provide extra height and aesthetic presence to the spire.
