Holy Trinity Brompton

Holy Trinity Brompton stands at the end of a long, leafy driveway in Knightsbridge, tucked away behind the much larger and more traditional Brompton Oratory. The church was originally built in 1829 as a Gothic Revival structure to serve the rapidly growing population of the area. It was funded in part by the Church Building Commission, which was tasked with establishing new places of worship across England. You might find it surprising that this building, which appears quite modest from the street, has become one of the most influential centers for modern evangelical Christianity in the entire world.
