Victoria Square

Victoria Square functions as a secluded residential enclave that preserves the character of early Victorian urban planning. Developed between eighteen thirty-seven and eighteen thirty-nine, the square was part of the Grosvenor Estate expansion in Belgravia. Architect Sir Matthew Wyatt designed the twenty-six houses surrounding the square as a unified composition, marked by cream stucco facades and neoclassical details. These buildings hold Grade Two-star listed status, reflecting their architectural importance as a rare, cohesive ensemble from that period.
