Titanic Distillery & Pump House

The Titanic Distillers building retains a tall, narrow chimney stack made of weathered red brick that marks the skyline of Queen’s Island. This structure served as the original pump house for the Thompson Graving Dock, the very place where the Titanic rested for its final fitting out before leaving Belfast in nineteen twelve. Workers once kept the massive dock dry by operating heavy machinery inside these walls. Today, copper stills occupy the space where those powerful pumps used to move the water.
