museum

HMS Caroline sits in the Alexandra Dock, a light cruiser easily spotted by her dazzle camouflage pattern of jagged blue, gray, and white stripes. While other ships were scrapped for steel, Caroline stayed in Belfast for a century as a training vessel. A sailor once described her interior as a wooden maze of tight corridors, smelling perpetually of paint, grease, and strong tea.
