Bay Meadows Landing Green

park garden

Bay Meadows Landing Green stands as a wide, open expanse of grass framed by modern, multi-story apartments and townhomes. This space occupies the former location of the Bay Meadows Racetrack, where crowds gathered for horse racing from nineteen thirty-four until the track closed in two thousand eight. When the grandstands fell, developers kept this central lawn as a public anchor for the new neighborhood. Today, the green serves as a quiet neighborhood common, preserving the footprint of the old thoroughbred track.
