You are approaching a building that once served as the largest bakery in the world. This massive complex, which spans an entire city block, was the original headquarters and factory for the National Biscuit Company, better known as Nabisco. It was within these very walls in 1912 that the Oreo cookie was invented. If you look closely at the entrances, you can still spot the original Nabisco mosaics embedded in the floor, a quiet nod to the millions of cookies, crackers, and snacks that were once produced right where you are standing.
