Jackie Robinson Museum

The Jackie Robinson Museum serves as the first institution in New York City primarily dedicated to the Civil Rights Movement. Opened in twenty twenty-two, it sits in the historic Hudson Square neighborhood as a permanent home for the legacy of a man who broke the color barrier in major league baseball in nineteen forty-seven. While the space honors his athletic career, its mission intentionally centers on his life as an activist, entrepreneur, and family man. You will find over four thousand artifacts here, many drawn directly from the personal collection of the Robinson family, including his original National Baseball Hall of Fame plaque.
