Music Hall of Williamsburg

The Music Hall of Williamsburg began its life in 2001 as a gritty, independent rock club called Northsix. At that time, most of New York City’s cutting-edge musical acts were tethered to Manhattan stages, but this space helped shift the gravitational center of the scene across the East River to Brooklyn. Its early reputation was built on an eclectic booking style that earned it the title of Best New Rock Club from The Village Voice just one year after opening its doors.
