Güero's Taco Bar

The corrugated metal roof and the giant, circular neon sign featuring a smiling cartoon woman distinguish the building from the surrounding neighborhood. It started as a small feed store in the late nineteen eighties, selling bulk grains and specialized supplies to local gardeners. Eventually, the owners began serving tacos from a stand in the back. That setup became so popular that it pushed out the animal feed and turned the entire warehouse into an open-air dining room, complete with a bandstand.
