Casa De Las Artes 999 La Ronda

museum

The Casa de las Artes on La Ronda wears a bright, ochre-painted facade and heavy wooden doors that stand out against the cobblestone street. This house sits in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Quito, where the walls hold the stories of traditional artisans and local musicians. In the mid-twentieth century, writers and poets gathered here to trade verses late into the night. Today, the building houses workshops and displays centered on preserving the city's complex woodworking and craft heritage.
