Concert Mayol

The Concert Mayol features a rounded, arched facade tucked along the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis. Originally a music hall called the Concert Parisien, it gained its lasting identity under the singer Mayol, who purchased the venue in nineteen ten. He filled the stage with extravagant, lighthearted revues, cementing the theater as a center for Parisian variety acts. Later, the space housed a famous cinema before the auditorium was carved up, leaving the distinctive street entrance as the primary reminder of its past.
