The Pont Maria Pacôme is a footbridge crossing the Canal Saint-Martin, distinguished by its simple, straight lines and plain steel railing. It stands as a connection between the Quai de Valmy and the Quai de Jemmapes. Unlike the older, arched bridges nearby, this structure provides a direct, modern path for pedestrians. It bears the name of Maria Pacôme, a French actress and playwright who lived in the tenth arrondissement and became a fixture of the local theater scene throughout the twentieth century.
