Louyz is a contemporary French street artist whose work is deeply rooted in a multigenerational tradition of muralism. Her creative lineage traces back to her grandfather, Fabio Rieti, a pioneer who began transforming Parisian walls with his trompe-l'oeil techniques in the nineteen-seventies. By blending this classical muralist heritage with the ephemeral, rebellious spirit of modern street art, Louyz creates what she describes as an urban jungle. Her murals often feature vivid animals and lush vegetation that seem to peel back the gray concrete of the city to reveal a hidden, breathing natural world underneath.
