Hôtel de Brienne

The Hôtel de Brienne features a row of tall, arched windows overlooking the Rue Saint-Dominique, framed by a heavy stone wall that hides a sprawling inner courtyard. This residence served as the home for Letizia Bonaparte, the mother of Napoleon, during the peak of the First Empire. She lived in these rooms while her son redrew the map of Europe. Today, the building houses the office of the French Minister of the Armed Forces, keeping the military legacy firmly within its walls.
