Giacometti Institute

The Giacometti Institute stands within a private Art Deco mansion that once served as the home and studio of the prominent interior designer Paul Follot. Built between nineteen twelve and nineteen fourteen, the building features original mosaics and decorative elements that have been meticulously preserved and restored. Architects Pascal Grasso and Pierre Antoine Gatier designed the current interior with minimal, floating white partitions and lighting fixtures that deliberately contrast with the historic, intricate architecture of the former studio. This setting provides an intimate, gallery-like space for housing the largest collection of works by the Swiss sculptor Alberto Giacometti in the world.
