Square Gustave Mesureur

The square where you are standing bears the name of Gustave Mesureur, a French politician who left a lasting mark on the city's public health system. As the director general of the Assistance Publique in the early twentieth century, he oversaw the creation of the nursing school at the Hôpital de la Pitié-Salpêtrière.
