St. Mary's Co-Cathedral

St. Mary's Co-Cathedral in Parry's Corner features a distinct, pale, neoclassical facade topped by a statue of the Virgin Mary. It stands on the site of a much older seventeenth-century chapel that once served the Portuguese Catholic community in the area. In the early nineteen hundreds, the original structure gave way to this larger church to accommodate the growing congregation. Inside, the altar holds an ancient painting of the Virgin Mary, believed by many to have been brought from the Holy Land.
