The YMCA building at Parry's Corner sits at a sharp, traffic-choked intersection with a pale, curved facade that mimics the bend of the street. It opened in nineteen hundred and eight as the first home for the Young Men's Christian Association in India. George Sherwood Eddy, an American missionary, pushed for its construction to provide housing and social space for young men moving to the city for work.
