SOHA Tulum Boutique features white, curved plaster walls that mimic the organic shapes of a desert dune. Tucked into the dense grid of the town center, the building uses local materials like chukum tree resin mixed into the concrete to create a textured, earthy finish. It functions as a retail space for independent designers, replacing the traditional rigid geometry of Tulum's concrete storefronts with soft, flowing lines. Architecturally, it serves as a deliberate departure from the blocky, utilitarian construction that defines much of the neighborhood.
