The exterior of Kaahal Home features textured, white concrete walls shaped into curved, organic forms that mimic the natural limestone formations of the Yucatan peninsula. It functions as a private residence and design project, built to emphasize raw materials and local craftsmanship. The architect, Javier Senosiain, pioneered this style of bio-architecture in the region. He spent years studying how traditional Mayan dwellings utilized wind patterns for cooling, then applied those same principles to these modern, sweeping walls.
