You are entering a space that relies on a clever geometric illusion. Although it is widely called Pancras Square, the area is actually triangular in shape, molded into the narrow wedge of land between King's Cross and St Pancras stations. This unusual footprint forced architects to think creatively to transform a former industrial rail yard into a functioning urban plaza.
