Shoreditch Park

Before this green space existed, the ground beneath your feet was a tightly packed web of Victorian terraced streets. During the Second World War, the area suffered catastrophic damage from aerial bombing raids during the Blitz. The destruction was so severe that much of the housing was declared beyond repair, leaving behind a scarred landscape of debris and cratered earth.
