Little Ben

Little Ben stands at the busy intersection of Victoria Street and Vauxhall Bridge Road as a miniature cast-iron replica of the Great Clock of Westminster. It was erected in nineteen ninety-two to replace the original nineteen-thirteen version that had been removed for refurbishment decades earlier. The clock features a distinctive four-faced design painted in dark green and gold, intended to mirror the aesthetic of its larger sibling at the Houses of Parliament. Its presence serves as a playful homage to the iconic timepiece nearby, shrinking a national symbol down to a pedestrian scale.
