Jitlada is defined by a massive, multi-page menu taped behind glass that lists over three hundred dishes from Southern Thailand. Before the current owners took over in two thousand and six, the restaurant struggled to find a consistent identity. Jazz Saxophonist Freddie Hubbard used to eat here daily, but the real shift arrived when Sarintip Suthum and Jazz Singha brought authentic, intensely spicy recipes from their hometown in Nakhon Si Thammarat. They turned a neighborhood spot into a destination for serious chili lovers.
