Completed in 1932, this structure originally served as the Chinatown branch of the Young Women's Christian Association. While Morgan is celebrated for her grand estates, she intentionally crafted this building as a jewel for the community, incorporating subtle Chinese aesthetic influences into the brick facade. The interior features a hand-painted ceiling in the entry lobby adorned with chrysanthemum flowers and a floor painted with a dragon motif. Local laborers provided the private donations that funded the project, ensuring the building remained a direct product of the neighborhood it served.
