Yerba Buena Gardens

Yerba Buena Gardens is built entirely on the roof of a convention center. Below the manicured lawns and walking paths lies the Moscone Center, a massive underground facility that hosts some of the city's largest gatherings. Engineers designed the structure to support the immense weight of the gardens, including the thousands of gallons of water circulating through its various fountains and pools, creating a hidden, tiered landscape above the urban machinery.
