Magowan's Infinite Mirror Maze was created by Charles Magowan, a Yale psychology graduate who opened the attraction in 2009. His background in the study of human perception informed the maze's design, which uses seventy-seven mirrors and black lights to manipulate depth perception and spatial awareness. The 2,000-square-foot space relies on these optical illusions to turn a simple path into a disorienting, kaleidoscopic labyrinth.
