Molinari's

Molinari Delicatessen stands as the oldest deli west of the Rocky Mountains. Founded in eighteen ninety six by P.G. Molinari, it remains an anchor of the North Beach neighborhood, which once served as the central hub for the city's Italian immigrant population. The deli gained such cultural significance within that community that local icon Joe DiMaggio included a specific provision in his will requesting that Molinari cater his funeral wake.
