Fisher Bay Observatory Gallery

museum

The Fisher Bay Observatory Gallery is a second-floor glass pavilion at the edge of Pier 15 that functions as a living laboratory for the San Francisco Bay. The structure is hardwired with a network of environmental sensors that capture real-time data from the surrounding water and atmosphere, including wind speed, tide levels, and water salinity. You can observe these invisible environmental shifts visualized on a three-dimensional topographic map of the region, which tracks how changing conditions impact the shoreline over time.
